Hey! I am Kara, a Doula and birth photographer based in San Tan Valley. I have birthed two babies and been blessed to be pregnant with four.
I am a lover of maternal autonomy and the pure beauty and strength in birth. It took having my own kiddos to know the true beauty within myself. Now… I am passionate about showing every woman their unfiltered strength and beauty through birth.

Reserve your Due Date
A pre-booking consult required prior to booking to insure Your family is fully on board.
Your fee ($1200) covers
-up to 2 prenatal appointments.
-My 24/7 on call time 37 weeks until baby is arrived and support throughout pregnancy and postpartum
-documentary style photography at birth & doula support when you need during labor

This part is all lead by YOU! It is your job to embrace, be present and 100% yourself as you bring your baby into this world. Whatever that means to you. I am on your birth team as a support to you. Documenting the details and small moments. Being both physical and mental support using doula services when needed.

The Reveal
2- 4 weeks Postpartum
You and I will have the opportunity to relive, process and discuss any lingering thoughts surrounding your delivery in the comfort of your own home. All while we look through your birth story and photos
It is here that we can create any albums or prints to immortalize the day for the future.
FAQs

I recommend you have your birth team booked by your econd trimester. This includes midwife, OB, doula, photographer, videographer, etc. If there is someone from you are dying to have on your team, I strongly suggest reaching out to them as soon as possible as we typically take only a few births a month. This allows us to be as present and available for you and others as much as we hope to be.

As your doula I come when you feel you need the support, this is typically when you transition to active labor, and stay until shortly after baby has arrived.
I have yet to miss a birth, communication is key! However if baby arrive before me, I will still document golden hour and you (and partner) bonding with baby. These moments are absolutely precious. We will also schedule a session in the future family or newborn to make up for the lost time.

I am located in San Tan Valley and service all the East Valley. Hospitals, birthing centers and home births!

I am here to support you as you see fit. You do not need to use my doula services, see other packages for pricing. However, I find that most families benefit from the additional support in the birthing scene. Those who don’t find a need for my services whether they have a separate doula, or are experienced birthers still highly value the documentation of their birth
